Thesps Join Fireflies' Cast

Dafoe, Panettiere, Lucio, Gruffudd and Newbern to star for Lee

Dennis Lee has penned Fireflies in the Garden and the all-star cast pic marks his directoral debut. Willem Dafoe, Hayden Panettiere, Shannon Lucio, Ioan Gruffudd and George Newbern joined Carrie Anne Moss, Ryan Reynolds, Julia Roberts and Emily Watson to star in the pic.

The story is loosely based on Lee's life and explores the complexities of love and commitment in a family torn apart when faced with an unexpected tragedy.

Production is scheduled to begin Tuesday in Austin.
