Wes Craven’s first feature The Last House on the Left is along time remake project for Rogue because acclaimed helmer couldn’t choose a heir for the director’s chair. But it’s now done.
Adam Alleca will rewrite the screenplay and Dennis Iliadis is set to direct the redo.
Craven said the remake will retain the spirit of the 1972 original, about killers who inadvertently seek refuge with the parents of one of their victims, but aim for a more realistic tone, reports Variety.
