Kristin Scott Thomas will play Lady Elizabeth, mother of Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman in The Other Boleyn Girl, reports Production Weekly.
The story revolves around the ferociously ambitious Boleyn sisters, Mary and Anne, who are rivals for the bed and heart of 16th century English King Henry VIII .
Peter Morgan adapted the screenplay. Eric Bana, Eddie Redmayne and Benedict Cumberbatch also star.
The pic is a historical drama based on a novel by Philippa Gregory and will be directed Justin Chadwick. Production starts next week in Lacock Abbey.
