Sigourney Weaver and Kate Bosworth are in talks to topline The Girl in the Park, says Variety.
The screenwriter will make his directorial debut on the Furst Films drama about a woman still traumatized by the disappearance of her 3-year-old daughter 15 years ago. When she meets a troubled young woman, her pain resurfaces along with the hope that the woman may be her missing child.
The film is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Auburn’s story and shooting is scheduled to start in November in New York.
