Eliot Rockett marks the feature directing debut of Patrick Sisam, who wrote the script with Rick Velleu based on short stories by Ethan Canin. Fallon will play a man devoted to his work but unable to commit to his girlfriend or anything else in his personal life. He returns to his hometown after his estranged father suffers a stroke. Stone will play his mother, a central figure in his dysfunctional past.
