Sarah Jessica Parker to Star Opposite Dennis Quaid

Sarah Jessica Parker will star opposite Dennis Quaid in the Noam Murro-directed Smart People, reports Variety.

Parker replaces Rachel Weisz in the role of a doctor who falls for a professor whose wife's death has turned him into a bitter man. Mark Poirier penned the script.

The pic also stars Thomas Haden Church, Ellen Page and Ashton Holmes.

Murro wil star shooting Nov. 6.
