Anne Hathaway Joined Steve Carell for Peter Segal’s Pic

Anne Hathaway is close to deal with Warner Bros. to star opposite Steve Carell in the Peter Segal-directed Get Smart, reports Variety.

Hathaway will play the role originated on the small screen by Barbara Feldon and Carell will play the Smart role originated by Don Adams.

Tom Astle and Matt Ember (Failure to Launch) wrote the most recent draft of the script. Segal plans to start in March.
