Kay Thompson-Hilary Knight children's book is headed to big screen

Kay Thompson-Hilary Knight children's book series Eloise are being adapted to big screen. HandMade Films has hired Charles Shyer to direct Eloise in Paris, the first of several planned big screen adaptations.
The series concerns on the precocious kid who lives in New York's Plaza Hotel.
The feature adaptation will be penned by Shyer, Larry Spencer and Hallie Meyers-Shyer.
