Martin Scorsese will be credited as a presenter for the Emanuele Crialese-directed Golden Door.
Varietys reports, Sicilian immigrants to the U.S. at the turn of the 20th century opens May 25 in Gotham and June 1 in L.A. Golden Door, known as Nuovomondo in Italy, was that country's official entry in the foreign-language Oscar race this year.
Scorsese will also introduce the movie at a Tribeca Film Festival screening next week.
