Playtone will produce New Line’s Ben Macintyre book

New Line has optioned the rights to Ben Macintyre book Agent Zigzag: True Wartime Story of Love and Deception and has signed a deal with Playtone partners Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman to produce the big screen adaptation.

The book is the true story of Edward Arnold Chapman, a career criminal who spied on the Germans for the British in WWII.
