Stephen Susco's Script Has Bought by Lionsgate

Lionsgate and Sobini Films have bought scribe Stephen Susco's spec script Sanctuary, based on John Connolly tome Bad Men, reports Variety.

Supernatural thriller revolves around a mysterious woman who takes refuge on a haunted island off the Maine coast.

Susco, who penned The Grudge and the soon-to-bow The Grudge 2, also penned Circle of Confusion's Red, set to start lensing next month.
