Emily Mortimer (The Pink Panther) is set to star opposite Ryan Gosling in the Craig Gillespie-directed comedy, Lars and the Real Girl, says Production Weekly.
The script by Nancy Oliver (Six Feet Under) tells the offbeat story of Lars (Gosling), a lonely, delusional young man, and his unconventional relationship with a lifelike doll he finds on the internet.
Filming starts in Toronto on October 11 then the pic will hit theaters on July 27, 2007.
