Oscar-winner Actor Would Like to Portray Steve Irwin

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, Russell Crowe is in talks with Universal about a biopic of memoir to iconic Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin.

"It's not about money for Russell, it's about honouring his friend”, says an insider. "Steve once told Russell that he wanted him to play him in a movie version of his life."

Crowe did a pre-recorded video message for Irwin’s public memorial last week.
