Judie Foster starrer drama rules over the domestic box office

Directed by Neil Jordan, the Jodie Foster-starrer crime-thriller The Brave One opened in No.1 at the domestic Box Oficce with $14 million. That marks the lowest-opening wide released movie since 1999's Anna and the King for Oscar-winner Foster.
Starring Russell Crowe and Christian Bale, James Mangold's remake of 3:10 to Yuma dropped %34.8 at ticket sales. Despite the fact that, Yuma added another $9.1 million and brings its total to $28.5 million in its first ten days.
Yuma was followed by Mr. Woodcock with $9.1 million. The biggest surprise of the weekend was Korean monster movie Dragon Wars. Korean movie opened with $5.3 million and landed at No.4.
The Judd Apatow-produced comedy Superbad down to fifth place with $5.2 million.
